Default Rota Slipstreams... 15x6.5 +40 offset, any problems?

anyone have a set of these rims? Do they fit 205s without a problem? +40mm offset a problem? Do they stick out closer to the fender, or they closer to the spindle (keep forgeting offsets and how they work).

Basically, i want to put 205/50r15s V700 Victoracers on a set of 15" rims that are light and cheap. The cheapest and lightest rim is the Rota Circuit 8s (at $125/ea)... but they are god awful ugly... the Slipstreams are ugly, but not AS ugly...I have the 4 piston brakes to clear and I really hate to have to buy spacers as well...

So, any info is greatly appreciated.

Back to the topic....the slipstreams will fit the car without any problems. I had 205/50 tires and no rubbing at all. Lowered ~2 inches. HTH.

I just installed Slipstreams with 205 Azenis last week. They clear the brake caliper by a mile and the fit is great. They don't rub, but I have very stiff suspension.

i just utilized the search function... and it worked!!!

About the brake caliper clearance... thing is, i have the 11" brake rotors with 4 piston wilwoods... do you have the same? I'm sure it'll fit (hopefully) without any spacers...

I thing the Fastbrakes will clear. Isn't the picture on their web page of a Rota Circuit * in 15"?

I run the stock rotors and there is tons on clearance

for a good article on offset, check this tirerack page:
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/offset.htm

so the greater the + offset, the further they are away from the spindle...
