Default Quick Question...your input is appreciated!

I just bought a 92 si hatch with a obd1 jdm b16. The guy gave it to me with a p30 ecu. It throws a check engine light because its an automatic ecu. Other than that thought does anyone foresee any problems using this ecu or should I go with a p28???

Thanks for your input..
