Alright heres my problem (figure its easier to ask before spending loads to get someone else to figure it out or spend all the time trying myself). The problem is that when I have the clutch disengaged the whole car rumbles like the car is about to cut off but it just keeps going. This problem also occurs whenever not accelerating in any gear and when I am shifting from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd when I push the clutch in the whole car pops as if I popped the clutch. Please help any suggestions on what it is would be greatly appreciated.

Bump does anyone have an idea? My guess was it was the clutch but if anyone has encountered this problem before and knows the problem please help.

 

To add to what I said, All the gears seem to be running smoothly and as far as the actual shift with the linkage is about as smooth as is gets so I assumed that tranny fluid was not a factor. I also ruled out the engine as that when accelerating the engine performs normally. I've pretty much narrowed it down to the clutch but a second oppinion would help me feel assured about ordering a new clutch.
