after driving my 92 lude ive noticed white smoke seeping through my hood..what could it be? im not sure what it is? the car isnt over heating...the smoke is coming from the passenger side...its not smoking while i drive but after i drive it...

 

are you running coolant, or water trough it?

If it's water, its just the coolant.

Next time pop you hood and see if it's coming from the radiator. If so, thats it.

 

im running water...is this a problem or is it normal? i have a cooling plate...i just bought the car a month ago and really havent had a chance to take a look at everything

 

most likely its coolant just check it out

i never noticed it because summer was the only time i ever drive my car

however in winter i started it up recently and it started smoking

i looked under the car and realized i had put a hole in my header since it was lowered

once i started driving the smoke would be gone

it also solved another problem i had i always wondered why when i bagged the car it would have a strong smell of exhaust in the cabin

turned out it was the leak from the exhaust

check if there are any cracks
