B18B1 junkyard price?
i am pretty sure that the 92+ tegs are b18b obd1 and obd2 the 90-91 teg are the b18a. i have had just about every year of teg out there and the 92 i had was a b18b and the 4 90's i have had are b18a. but answere the price ? if you are looking for a obd1 swap that is a very good deal if it has under 100k miles, if you are putting it in a 4th gen civic than you will have to get some more parts($).

sorry, almost positive the engine i just pulled out of a 92 teg said b18b on the tag. it is all origanal, i will check it again today. if i was wrong i strongly apoligize. but i dont think people should assume honda did not switch things up cause all automotive companys are known to do so.
600 bucks is a good deal, if you figure thats about 300 motor and 300 tranny, which isnt bad, i seen cheaper but I would get it. You wouldnt belive the hell I went through to locate a tranny, trannies must be in short supply these days.
see if the junk yard still has the shift linkage, axles, and rear motor mount. you can cut and reweld the linkages to the proper length, and the axles should go in without too much of a headache. i would offer 800 for everything, whole pullout.
damn where you located at i need a cable terany bad, like its the last peice for the swap. any one in the virginia area know of a yard that has one. need ls tranny for the b20 swap
