Need Help

I bought some aftermarket tail lights for my Si and I went to install them but I could not get the original tail lights out. Am I missing something or does the rear bumper need to come off to remove and install the tail lights? Thanks for the help.

Bumper needs to come off, and there are screws that need to be unscrewed, it's behind the trunk lining.

thanks...thats what i figured but i just wanted to make sure before i took the rear bumper off.
