H22a swap into EG? shiftlinkage and mounts.
Does anyone make a shiftlinkage i can buy that will keep me from having to cut the circle around the shifter to mount the H22a stock type linkage. Or is that the only or best way to go with this. Any info is appeciated i did search. I thought hasport had something but i can not find anything.
Also i was thinking about going with the innovative h22 swap mounts over the hasport because of price does anyone see a downside to this..

Preludes use cables, sweetheart, hence the problem
To answer the guy's question, no, you cannot. Your only real option to keep from cutting a hole in the floor is to get an H2B adapter and use a hydro B-series transmission.

Just use the prelude linkage and there is a company that makes an adapter to mount the actual shifter portion to your car, but regardless you will have to make a cut in your firewall to run the cables.

Actually, you could make a plate or use a shitload of spacers/washers to lift the shift plate up, avoiding the lip on the hole for the stock shift linkage.
The shifter will be higher, but you won't have to cut anything out.
Actually, since you have an EG, you could mount the shift plate under instead of on top of that part. It should bolt up flush if you use the right spacers and bolts. Then, no cutting has to be done.

Have you ever seen this done and if so can you point me to some pics or something it sounds like a good idea if its not too doofy looking and what not.

My bad. I answered the question too quickly and didn't realize. I would stay away from the H2B. Its a setup thats more race friendly. Daily driver, go with the M2B4 H22 tranny and cut the hole.

Which setup do you think is better for the street and for some reason i cant find the price for the H2b setup anywhere.. I went to the site no prices listed. Cuz i do have a type R trans laying around i might be able to use with the H22 motor and remember this is a built h and will be boosted..
Were do i get the H2b that website didnt help. How much does the H2b cost? will i have to use a mount kit at all with the h2b? What axels are to be used with the H2b? all these are my unanswered question im trying to start this by next week i would truly love if someone could help me out and i promise to post pics of the entire swap and details issues i run into and so forth.
