did you replace the thermoswitch before you took the pain of running a new wire? because the thermoswitch probably failed originally.. but now the wiring is different, so no one can tell you what is going on without knowing what you did. im gonna go out on a limb and say that your new wiring job is bad and thats why it doesnt work..

if the old wiring is still intacked.. replace your thermoswitch and it will probably work. you can test the thermoswitch before you replace it, so you dont waste money.. but if your old wiring is not intact, good luck.

the fits a little tight but the removal is easy overall. did you do the paperclip test. connect the points on the plug for that switch and find out if thats the problem or if it's further down the chain.

i have been having a problem with my relay blowing lately. connect the points on that thermo sensor plug and see if you can hear that relay click. if not start there.

Im pretty sure the thermoswitch opens up at 210 or so, what you could do is boil it to that temp and check it with one of those elecrical testing dealys... cant think of the name. If you get a a circuit then it is good. If not they are only like 16 bucks at AutoZone. Plug could have disconnected, wiring could be bad.

don't forget to check your fuse, thermoswitch should be on your thermostat housing.

Might also be the fan relay. Try putting on the horn relay on there and testing it out. They're the exact same
