Honda CRX 1987 Model, Problem with RPM
Hi
Sorry my english is not the best so i will try and describe the problem as good as i can.
My problem is that when i start the engine it runs on aroun 1000 RPM thats ok, but if i push the gas pedal and go up to like 5000-6000 RPM and remove the pressure from the pedal again, the RPM drops to like 3000-3200 and just stays there, it wont go lower. I talked to a guy and he said i should check the MAP sensor (are there any in a CRX 87 model? ) Or that i should check if the engine gets air from any other sources then my filter/airhose. Was wondering if anyone know where the MAP sensor is placed? Tryed looking at the ECU to see if it was a built in but no luck there... And i couldnt find any MAP sensor in my CRX book.
So anyone know where its located ? Or anyone had this problem and might know what is wrong?
