inquire about what whether they installed aftermarket motor mounts with that swap, or if they installed the inserts that you can get to go in the stock mounts. That would make the car vibrate more than normal at idle.

no you dont have to remove the engine, but if u've never done it and don't have the proper tools, take it to a shop just to be safe....

Make sure they give you back the mounts. You can resell 'em.

IMHO, if it has motor mount inserts or solid mounts, it would not be worth it to me to take them out. I installed ES inserts in my '95 coupe (all three), and that's a job I don't want to ever do again unless I have the motor completely out of the car. Especially the rear mount. If you don't want to do it yourself (don't have the tools, know-how, etc), then you'll have to take it to a shop, and you're going to end up spending money on something that's trivial (in my mind at least).

But anyway, it's up to you, it's your car afterall. But, they don't add THAT much vibration, and it's only at idle and low RPM. Most likely not doing any harm other than making the interior vibrate a little more.

Yeah I can't see out of any of my mirrors! But I think it's because my sound system makes 122.3 dB. Did I mention that I am starting to go deaf at the age of 18? I can drown out a Mustang Cobra with a straight H pipe while he has it floored!
