Low thirties here in Raleigh FTL.

I'm a 70's and up type of guy but I'll probably hand wash the R tomorrow anyhow.

Texas rules.

It's perfect outside in Austin right now. Tormorrow we're supposed to break into the 80s. And unlike Florida, we don't have freakin' thunderstorms every afternoon and that awful, choking humidity.

But you are also 200 miles from the ocean if you like water and all that it brings (Even if you are in the middle of FL it only 60 ish miles to a beach)

Yeah, I love the ocean, and the gulf doesn't count.

Never been to Florida's Atlantic coast, but I doubt I'd be all that enthralled with it since I grew up in SoCal, 20 minutes from the beaches of the mighty Pacific. That's what I think of when I want to go to the ocean.

Austin has a lot of lakes, though, and the water is nice and clear here. Much better than my options up in Dallas.

Today's weather had me in the best mood! Drove my built - non-itr for the first time in months.

Never been to CA, but SC has nice beaches. Corpus is only about 2.5 hours from me, I am in San Antonio. I'd rather goto Rockport though.

IMO: Canyon Lake > TX Beaches > No beach at all

It was surprisingly warm here today too. Errr warm for me. It was 39, but we have had such a cold winter so far so it practically felt like spring. Then again, I just bought a new snowboard so I'd like to go snowboarding at least a couple more times this season. The snow's already on the ground and tracks don't open for at least a month yet, so it wouldn't hurt to keep the snow around a tad bit longer.

Wilmington is great... Hot during the summer, warm-mild winters. You can drive your nice car year-round without worry of snow. I live 2 miles from the ocean, and 7 miles from downtown... I love this place.

Not to mention UNCW, which FHM rated as number 2 in the nation of having the hottest girls... Which is very true.

Hehe, I prefer the burnt orange version....

A lot of people from other states don't realize "Don't Mess with Texas" is our anti-littering campaign tagline. They hear it or see the stickers and think it's more of the Texas "bigger and badder" attitude.

One of my favorite lines in a book is, "He was the typical Texan, friendly and generous. The kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back, as long as you don't mention the size of Alaska."

Give you the shirt off your back ? A Texas forced striptease ?

Shouldnt it rather be, the shirt off his own back ? Or have I burnt the majority of my brain cells at this point ?

Damn aggresive Texans
