HFP as coverup- good idea or bad?
I've had a bit of a problem with the habanero curse and I've got some scratches from someones license plate screws stamped on my lower back bumper, and I caught some fairly large gravel scrapes on my front lip. I'm thinking about trading it in for the civic si sedan, would it be worth it to install the HFP bodykit to cover up the damage? or do you guys think it wouldnt be worth the money and I might as well just leave it and take the loss. I'd probably trade it in at a dealer if that makes a difference.
Why don't you get the damage assessed by a different dealer, see how much you'll lose, and compare it (roughly) to the cost of a HFP ki? That's the best I can think of.
Or
Post pics up here and let some knowledgeable people take a gander at the damage.

Finally, I found some pictures on my comp that I took the day after "it" happened with the front. I dont know whats up with the black duct tape, I'm pretty sure I just pulled that off after I took the pictures.
The HFP front lip would cover this up, right?

I know, I'm worried about putting that on it too. I think if I decide to trade it in, I'll put it on before I trade it in so theres little time for it to get f***ed up.
