Rod bearings and Piston Rings

Rod bearings and Piston Rings
What is a good brand of Rod bearins and piston rings to get? I want something a heck of alot better than OEM and I have looked everywhere. And my motor broke a rod and I still dont know how it happened.

whats wrong with OEM?
the fact the ACL says one size fits all....... I dont like that. When i build my motors i use OEM and i make sure everything is within spec.
