If you have a crazy idle surging problem, it won't be from the FITV.

I don't see why you would have any surging issues as long as the FITV is connected. Also I'm a little confused on your setup, you have hondata AND a VAFC? I don't know why you wasted the money on a P72, also all this money on a build and you're using Probe rods? Saturated injectors? And lastly, although not nearly as important as the first few, it might be better to go with a CAI with a BPI and K&N

you don't need an FITV as was said.

the 2006 PRO spec (lol you capitalized it) skunk2 IM is just the same as the old one with cleaner casting. Good luck with that waste of money.

Probe rods are crap, and they're NOT the lightest rods available. You should have looked into carrillo for rods. Also, that crappy unorthodox pulley is going to ruin your freshly built bottom end, look into a real damper like the ATI or just use a stock pulley.

And you didn't need to go oversize on the valves, but hey its a little late for that now.

Im not interested in a CAI. I like how the Type-S looks. If you dont like it, your problem. My car. haha

Inregards to the oversized vlaves & the PROBE Rods, I bought the motor assembled....well, I had to put the head onto the block and re-adjust everything...so thats not my doing. As for them being the lightest rod....thats what I was told when I bought the motor...if they arent, meh..whatever.

I knew I was gonna get **** for the S2 manifold. Thats what I wanted, I dont care if it loses a lil power. It looks bling, and this is more-or less for shows. Again, my car, my motor...you don't like it? Tough ****. Dont buy it for yours then.

Im in it for performance, ya, but not completly, im not gonna be racing around town with it.

My friend have the Unorthadox crank pulley on his lude for 80K miles and he's had no problems. As I said...bling factor. haha. :shruggs:

The P72 and the S200 came in a package deal. The S22 is brand new, so im not worried about it.

As for the Saturated injectors....I called RC, talked to one of their guys for like 30 mins, sent him my mod list, and they said that they thought that the Saturated would be best for my setup. I was relying on them. haha.

Last but not least, the FITV....I was doing some light reading before I posted this, and from what I understand, is that if you dont have the Fast Idle Thermo Valve hooked up, you will have an Idle surge until the car fully warms up.

Nah, I don't feel like an idiot. I know what I wanted, so I bought it. Im not worried about money.

I care to a certain point. I dont care if it makes 210whp or 250whp. But, I want it to atleast run right.

Also, I dont get the saying "Bling Bling lil weezy!?" That dosent mean anything to me.

Theres a large difference in the amount of money you need to spend for 210whp and the amount for 250whp.

You could have spent the difference on some blingin rimz or some ICE dawg.

Your priorities would fit in better on another forum, but, fwiw, I hope you got the answer you needed.

Why dont you go get a job and earn your money?

But ya, I get your point, now get mine...Im not interested in having 200 amps & speakers, and im not interested in having a set of $2,000 wheels. The wheels I have now are awsome, why change? I just got them a month ago.

I just donated money to my carclub, so im capped with my donations for now. haha.

So. Does anyone have a actual ANSWER for me, or what?

Yeah, upgraded rods are probably the most important mod for a show car.

What ******* answer do you want? I told you, you don't need the FITV. I drive everyday without one and I don't have idling problems.

From your uneducated manner about building engines and having horsepower not be your priority, I had supposed that you were simply building your engine so you can roll up next to your homeses and say "dis **** is built y0". Thats why I figured you would like huge subs and some rimz

I did some research and they told me that the FITV was causing the Idleing problem on my car, it jumps up and down from 1500 to about 3000 rpm or close, I changed the Map sensor and IACV, I checked the hoses for leaks, but everything seems to be ok. The problem goes away sometimes after I run the car for a while but comes back, or it will rarely drop the rpms and die, but that's very rare, I also checked the TB and it seems that the butterfly is properly closed. A lot of you guys know a lot about this so I would really appreciate some of your help since I've been having this problem for a while now, other than that, the car runs fine.
