Get the one that you like. They only differ in weigh by ~1lb/wheel. You're not gonna notice the weight.

Buddy club's are nice and light, but I don't like the look of it on the itr.

ssr is more for show, its not as strong as the buddyclub and volks, if you track a lot and such id get the buddyclub or te37.

Hmm I don't think that's necessarily true.... since I've seen a lot of racers in Japan use the SSR wheel. They call it Type C, and is pretty popular there.

You can't be serious. SSR makes great wheels. The comps are more than enough for any track days. I can't believe someone said that those are for "show". :shakes head:

SSR are great quality rims. After all, if the Real Time Racing ITRs use them they must be good..

SSRs are nice looking and very light. but not very strong, at least not to what they are made out to be.

Exactly, they bend a bit too easily, but again this is under extremely hard cornering on tracks and mountain climbs. Still a fantastic rim for the money, and looks decent for a ultra-light rim.

i like the look of the SSR's. plus i don't see them much, so that would be a plus if you don't want to have the same wheels as everybody

The buddy clubs are rare as well, havent seen those around period. Volks I see way too many times, especially at the blasted track meets.

if the SSR's bend easily...and realtime racing ITR's use them...
maybe they use them because they can AFFORD to replace them easily...
sponsorship perhaps?
although i have no personal exerience with the TE-37's...
A LOT of people have them BUT, i don't see many people complaining of rim
damage...

Too bad the Kosei K1's (Buddy Club something or other) aren't forged (12 lbs for 16") cause I think they look the best.

I'm gonna get a set of them one of these days anyways

There is a difference between the wheel rigidity needed on the track (rotational stress) and the street (potholes). The Competitions are a strong rim for the track but WILL bend on the street if not driven with care.

Realtime Orders there wheels from the tire rack, no sponsorship.

I'd like to see a SSR wheel bend from "hard corners"

Here thay are on my ITR
