Default Vaccum Hoses/Where do these go? (56K warned)

I have recently got a H22A from a friend that everything was hooked up "wrong" on.

Now, I am trying to figure out where what I need to run goes to.

I will be rinning a chipped P28. No EGR, no IAB's. I have removed the IAB plate from the intake manifold.

Now, onto the things that I need to know where the vaccum hoses go to.

(the one towards the front of the IM goes to the MAP sensor, correct? And the large one in the middle goes to the big inlet on the charcoal can. I am also wanting to take out the charcoal can. can anyone tell me where to route this hose in order for it to not be used on the charcoal can?)

Then theres this little one on the back.

Then I have these two on the transmission. Do I need to worry about these or not?

those are hoses that power steering fluid goes to.. that is your speed sensor and gear. so ya those you should worry about.

The black box in the first picture is for the iabv so you can take it out. One of the lines from that box get plugged in to as you put it "this little on on the back.

Yeah "the one towards the front" goes to the firewall.

You should visit this page https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/650329 it has the diagrams in it.

It has diagrams for everyone wanting to run IAB's and EGR's.

I believe I can figure it out now. So I can just take the black box off and not run the IAB;s.

You will like the car a lot more with the IABs...removing them will cause you to loose low-end power. Look at slhondaparts.com for the diagrams.

As for all the vacuum lines, vacuum is vacuum is vacuum...it doesn't matter where you hook up to the intake manifold, just that the ones that need a vacuum source have one.

you're going to have to find a way to run powersteering through it then. because you won't be able to use your speedo w/o that hooked up. Or you run it w/o any ps fluid running through it and watch it burn out over time.

The VSS uses the transmission fluid, right?

Or your takling about the cars power steering system, right?

I already have looped the cars power steering system. So thats all good.

They mean to loop a line from the vss to the vss. And put p/s fluid in the vss so it doesn't burn up.

Block them of all of them on the intake manifold. Did you take your butterflies out on the intake manifold because one of the hoses on the black box goes to it. If you have not then you need to.

Removing IAB's makes you loose like 2 HP at about 3,000 RPM's.

I can deal with that.

Im just trying to set it up as clean as I can.
