Default Power wire through the firewall ?

What's the best way to get the power wire (soon to be two power wires) for my amplifier(s) through the firewall on my 99 Accord EX 4-door sedan? There's a big grommet way down by the A/C stuff but there is closed loom going through it. Do I need to cut into that loom to go through? Is there a BETTER spot to come through?

There is a black plastic cap higher up on the firewall, and I popped it out to expose the backside of I assume the carpet/insulation. Is this a good place to just poke through?

the best place that i have found on a 6th gen is the grommet underneath the engine fuse box. it runs right behind the glove box. if you use that one, you have to get a knife and poke it so you can run the wires. it will be to tight of a fit if you don't.
