I just saw the megan racing mid pipe for the 06-07 Si. Is anyone using this?
Heres a link:

In the ad it mentions the EP3, but I think its a typo.

I'm running the Megan midpipe on my 350z, been about 6 months no complaints yet. Some of the people on the Z forums were saying they crack if there is enough stress on the pipe (low car + speed bump scrape). Haven't had it happen to me yet. Probably will get the midpipe for my Si as well.

hey if your getting a deal why not? it's not like you've heard bad stuff from this company. 24boosted said it's been solid so far on his 350z. but hey if you got the money why not?

How is 2.25 inches no better than stock? Its bigger than the stock size, so therefore it will flow better.

I myself have not physically touched my mid pipe, on 8th gen civic I read it was 2".
So I assumed it was an upgrade. Do you know for a fact that the oem is bigger or the same size?

i don't have any concrete evidence, but 2" does not sound reasonable for OEM... but the maybe the truth
but my point is... why buy just a mid pipe? and if your going to be any mid-pipe... since you'd be upgrading from 2"... why not going to 2.5" instead of 2.25"... i mean if you gonna do something to you car, fuqqin do it you know what i mean? lol
not trying to start any argument or anything, just saying.. when it comes to modifying your car.. do it right or don't do it at all

I understand what your saying. Some people want a mid pipe to run with the HFP axle backs or other mufflers options.
Alot of cars have 1.75" exhausts. 2.25 is usually an upgrade in size. Not to mention it keeps the sound down a little, and also keeps the back pressure for lower end torque.
My car is N/A and will just be running bolt ons (I/H/E), so 2.5 would probably be overkill. Bigger is not definately always better in the case of exhausts.

Oh yeah also just for the sake of saying......like I said before the exhausts on alot of factory cars are fairly small. Take a WRX for example. A turbo car will have a bigger exhaust than a N/A obviously and theres is only: 2.047 inches. About 2" so I am definately sure that my Si's piping diameter is smaller than that.

nah mah 2.5" is AWESOME for NA... i read somewhere on fgcoupe.com that one of the sponsors was doing dyno test and said that 2.75" was the best size for the motor NA... dont know how much truth there is behind that, i can definately assure you that 2.5" is not overkill for a 2.0L K-series

Most of the catback exhausts out for the Si right now come in 60mm and 70mm. The 60 is supposed to be for n/a while the 70mm most run with F/I. The 60mm is about 2.35" while the 70 is 2.75".
EDIT******
SeanJohn, megan's website has a typo. Under the description they have the EP3 stuff listed, the 06-07 is infact a 2.5. Looks like your right on with the facts. Good man.

lots of people run 3" on their k swapped cars. granted they mave done a lot more than just bolt ons but 3" was unheard of 3-4 years ago on NA hondas.

I saw this mid-pipe when i was looking around but decided to go custom. I went to the muffler shop and got 2.5 from the cat to the stock axle-back with no resonators. IT SOUNDS AWESOME!!!!. If i had the money I would've went with this same exact mid-pipe.
