Default BDL Fuel Rail... post up if you got one, cuz this is pissing me off haha

So I ordered an H22 BDL fuel rail last week to go on my Euro-R mani. In the meantime I fabbed up the fuel rail adapter and mocked it up with a stock jdm rail as well as a usdm rail. So I got all the spacers made and the adapter and its great. Then the BDL rail comes and apparently they decided to make the bottom a bit different for whatever reason. On the stock rail the distance from where the injector goes into the rail, to the mounting surface is about a half an inch, where as the BDL rail is flush on the bottom.

This means when you bolt the rail on the distance between the rail and injectors is too great. So then I'm thinking since it was intended to go on a usdm manifold, maybe they just figured you'd run it without the phenolic spacers, but the spacers are taller than the distance I spoke of earlier, so wouldn't work either.

All this leads me to believe that in order to get this to work on a usdm manifold you'd have to ditch the phenolic spacers and use washers to make up the space. Is it just me or is this jank as hell? Not such a big deal on my Euro-R, I can just shorten the adapter I made but I was planning on this bolting right up. Anyone know of any that do?

well after doing about two hours of searching here and all over the net it sounds like these rails (STR and BDL) were to come with new spacers, which mine obviously didn't.

in my case its for bling, but it actually has advantages though, like more fuel delivery
