FS: AEM AIR BYPASS VALVE Cold Air Intake
Brand new, never used, AEM Air Bypass Valve, part number 20-401. If you've got a cold air intake and you live anywhere it rains you need this.
Ever wonder how much water it takes to blow up your engine? Also known as hydro-lock? Two tablespoons. Two tablespoons of water in a cylinder will take up sufficient room to generate enough extra pressure to make your engine go boom.
Boom is bad, Air bypass is good.
You don't have to worry about your intake sucking hot engine air from your engine compartment through this valve. Its engineered so that it will ONLY let air through IF your other air filter is submerged in water. It requires a certain amount of vacuum so under normal conditions your cold air intake functions as normal even with the bypass valve installed, genius, thank you AEM.
$25 + $8 shipping anywhere in the US.
