Can I use the Jdm wiring harness when I receive my H22 swap? I know it will be for right hand drive but could I shorten or lengthen wires as needed? Or is it easier to use existing wiring harness and add vtec wires?

 

If you like to solder then you can modify the jdm engine harness. Imo it's wasy easier to use the usdm engine harness. I'm guessing you have an Si( H23) correct? If so then yes just add vtec wiring.

 

Do you know where the fuse box is under the hood on the passenger side? There are a couple plugs each with a lot of wires beside it that send all that info from the engine wire harness to the ECU. The jdm harness will have all that on the wrong side. That is a lot of wires to fix so it is easiest, imo, to just run 3 wires for vtec.

 

I am putting the H22 auto trans swap in a 92 Integra auto car. Is the USDM harness the same for non-vtec OBD 1 Integra and Lude?
