Before you tell me to search, I did...anyways..My question is, I recently tried to do the FITV bypass mod on my 92 lude si. After I did this, however, the idle started going retarded 1500-2500 and sometimes getting stuck at 3k, I couldnt have this. So I put all the lines back on and now its still doing it, I didnt bleed my coolant like i was supposed to so do you think that, that may be the cause? let me know

 

probably, why don't you try bleeding it if you think that's it... and if that doesn't work come back

its definitely ur fitv. take it out give it a good cleaning. screw it in all the way. also when bleeding coolant wait till the radiator fan turns on.

 

well its not always your FITV or the AICV, cause I replaced both...good $450 later, all it was, was my intake manifold gasket.

 

ouch, i replaced the iacv (40 bucks off ebay) i think i just messed something up when i did that fitv mod...how gay, well im gonna go attempt a fix now..thx for the input
