1. The "R" back bumper - is it different thant he gsr/ls one?
2. Will a 98+ bumper fit a 94-97? - direct bolton? (back bumper)
...I need one...

No, they are the same when you take into consideration the different years (94-97 vs 98-01). 98 R has the same bumpers as a 98 GSR/LS

No, they are the same when you take into consideration the different years (94-97 vs 98-01). 98 R has the same bumpers as a 98 GSR/LS

Yea, you need the headlights and the turn signals when you do the front bumper, but I believe he is only interested in the rear bumper.
