whp #'s?
ok anybody wanna take a shot at what i could be making with this setup and what i would need to further my adventure towards 200whp out of a b16.
set up:
obd0 b16a bored .40 over, using wiseco 81.5mm pistons
11.5:1 compression
stock rods, arp rod bolts and head studs
port and polished head, 3 angle valve job
supertech valve springs and titanium retainers
buddy club spec 3+ cams
jge cam gears
aebs intake manifold
aebs throttle body
password cf intake
hytech header 2.5" collector
tanabe cat back exhaust
just curious, havent had a chance to make it to a dyno yet, but soon i hope, just wondering if anyone had a setup similar to this and if so what #s they had put down.
lemme know. and if you think the cams arent good enough, what cams should i go to, just keep in mind my piston to valve clearance is very close. i have to use 2 sparkplug washers on each plug so the piston doesnt hit them. thanx in advance

yeah i know they are lackin torque, thought about a gsr block but a friend of mine said id have 2k in the block getting it ready to be dropped in. so i dunno. how do you like the sk2 st2 cams?
thanx for your reply and not being a dick. im waiting for those to start replying

I havent even felt my vtec yet.....I am having idling problems....I have a thread on here about dynoing before breaking...the good people that give us all their experienced adviced. say to do the dyno before break in...so that is what I am going to do...
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1895334
there are also other threads here stating that if the car is runing too lean or rich..it can melt your pistons and all kinds of other bad stuff can happen..if it isnt properly tuned..

I am running S2 Pro2 in By B16, with bolt-on and CTR pistons, manage to get 188 HP and round 125 lb/ft, on open header.....so wish you all the best....would love to see the dyno..

I'd certainly hope you laid down some good numbers with your compression through the roof.

You shouldn't need to "see".. They have very short stroke and a relatively small bore. Its going to be low on torque compared to anything with a larger stroke. Factor that in with the rod/stroke ratio and you have a engine that is not only low on torque, but peaks extremely high. This is the reason why I am not a fan of the B16. Having to wind it out to 7,000rpms at every light to keep up with full size trucks gets old quick. (slight sarcasm for those of you who missed it)
