So I bought a set of JDM ITR doors today to replace my LS doors to have shaved moldings. I thought all I would have to do is switch out the harnes from my doors to the JDM ITR doors. Wrong. I Have to swap EVERYTHING over. Anyone ever done this before and know any shortcuts or helpful advice on how to do this? I've already searched all over and its pissing me off.
So what are you having problems with? You just have the shell? If so you're going to have to pull everything out from ur old door and put it exactly as it was onto the new door. I am also in the process of doing this and it gets really confusing. I took before pictures and try to match it exactly onto my new door. There's really no "short cut" unless you already have wires in the new door you can just unplug the main connector and plug it into the new door. Not sure about the compatibility of the jdm and usdm doors.

naw the new doors have everything in them, but they're JDM so everythings backwards. Its just a bitch taking EVERYTHING (window regulator, locking mechanism, door handles, harness, etc.) out and swapping it. oh well, got one door done tonight. Next one will be done on my next day off which is friday.
So how'd you go about completing it? Took out everything and transfered them? I was able to take everything out EXCEPT the main plug that's located nearest the fender, you thnk you could help me out on how to take that out?

are you talking about the main door harness? its cliped in by two clips on the top and bottom of the plug. you just have to pry out one side first and then the other. its easier if you pull it out from inside of the door.

yeah remove it from the door, not from the car itself. Peel back the rubber cover on the door side and you should see where it clips on. Its a lot easier if you pop out that little silver bar thing that allows the door to open further. I'll try and post some pics if I get a chance tomorrow for you.
