Ok so ive decided I want the Wings west kit. Some reasons are cause its urethane unlike mugen etc.

Anyways now I had my shop find me the best price he could. He gave me a quote of

$ 1023.00 canadian (OR)
$ 643.39 US dollars

Based on 1.59 exchange rate.

Is this a good price?

Now how much does it cost to paint a kit?

My friend has a paint sprayer which he used when he did up his hotrod and was wondering how much paint alone would be for a kit if I bought some and let him do it?

Ive heard of guys here on the board sayin they got their kit for five hundred something, i think $643 is a bit too much I suggest look around

it dont include the rear spoiler it comes with front/rear bumpers side skirts and door caps (6 peices) ive never seen the kit come with the spoiler

I got my WW for 1300 CDN. It was more $ cause I needed it to be shipped in from Calgary. But that price was taxes included, so not bad.

I did all the prep work myself (priming and wetsanding) and I found a paintshop to paint it my stock color for 300 cash.

BTW, install is a bitch. Expecially the back bumper. You are looking at 6+ hrs.

 

It's really not a bad price. You're really not talking that much of a difference from what everyone else paid. Average cost to paint a body kit and install it in my shop is about $500 US. Make sure whoever paints it uses an adhesion promoter such as Bulldog or a like product and Flex additive in the clear. This will help keep it from peeling or cracking.

 

I will be installing it but just need someone to paint it unlesss there is other moethods
