alright so i just picked up a nice 93 gsr with the b17 n i cant find parts for it at all....can anyone help me and do any parts for a b18 gsr work for mine?

 

I'm not sure, I don't really think there is much aftermarket support for DA gsr's. But I am also in the market for one so bump for you

 

most b-series parts are interchangable but u gotta pick from the right ones..ie: b18c1 intake manifold is different from the b17

 

for things like bolt on's and other external parts you want to get b16 parts and modify if needed. for cams, any b series vtec will work. same for pistons. not too many companies make rods for that engine though.

 

I do belive that JE makes pistons for the b17, and crower for cams. If you are looking for a header or exhaust it may be more convient to have a local performance shop make one for you. THats just my 2 cents

not true!!!Any B-series piston will fit. from CTR,ITR, p30 and more(81mm)
i dont think crower make vtec cams and i believe that b16/b17 share the same block but with a different strock, so a header for a b16 will fit on a b17.

 

A B17 is just a B16 with a different crank and longer rods. The head and the block are the same. Get a custom header and exhaust fabricated? Man, that is ******* stupid.

 

what exactly are you looking for? I've found everything I need for mine. Also, if you're going to Autzone or Advanced for parts, you might have to tell them 1999 Civic Si if you need any engine parts. B16, B18c5 are all the same parts.

But just check ebay. Tons of parts, but there isnt HUGE aftermarket support. But its not that bad.
