Any recommendations for a high flow cat or should I stick with the stock one. Mine is rattling and it something inside the cat, the elements may broken.

I am planning to put in a ZC in the next 2 months or so.

 

get a catco

 

prolly just the bloody heatshield....sometimes they come loose and rattle like a ****...i had the same problem...just take it off problem solved...u dont need it really

 

dude that sound is probably the exhaust bearings, those tend to go out real quick.

 

I took the heat shields off, that's what I thought it was at first too.

Exhaust bearings? never heard of that..

I jacked up the car put it on stands and crawled under, removed cats heatshields and when I banged on it I could hear the rattle inside the cat.

So catco is the only recommendation?
Is catco a aftermarket replacement or a performance replacement part?

 

I've read a magazine test that said Carsound cats flow with the best of them. And they're economical.
