Speaker problem!!
OK, so I'm having a little problem with my factory premium sound system. First of all I don't have the bass turned all the way up, in fact, I haven't touched the settings for the sub or the bass and I don't have the volume cranked either. That being said I've been getting a weird thumping noise from my rear speakers, it could be the sub or the rear-right speaker, it almost sounds like the speaker is blown or warn-out.
Does anyone have any similar problems or know how I can fix it and if I take it back to the dealership does anyone think that they would replace it or just tell me to kick rocks.
Marshall
Take it to the dealership, they will replace/repair whatever needs to be done under warranty.
Even if the speakers were to blow out because you turned the bass and volume all the way up, warranty would still cover them.

Thanks I'll give them a call and set up an appointment.

That was the first thing I checked and everything was set at C, nothing had been turned up or down.

Marshall,
I also had a similiar problem with my Si. Although my Sub and Bass were both set at Zero anytime the volume reached 9 or 10, I heard a sound that resembled a partially blown speaker.
After a researching a little I found out it was just a rattle or vibration coming from the rear speaker deck. I also searched and found a bulletin from Honda and when I took my car in for the last oil change I let them know about the problem. When I picked my car up they had fixed it.
Most likely this is the same problem I had and not a blown speaker. But, even if it is, it will most likely be covered under warranty like TRE_ said.
Just to show you we are not the only ones, here is a link to a thread a few months ago on the same topic...
