question about high flow cat
Trending Topics
Yup, my Carsound cat that I had installed went bad after about 3 months. I got it from Dave (R&D) but unfortuantely I couldn't get a replacement from him and I have to go through Carsound directly. But before I can send it to them, which isn't even a guaranteed refund, I have to take it off and get another cat in the meantime. $200 like that, wasted!
we have been over this before, but is there any other alternative?
for me, test pipe is out of the question because the fine is so severe.
california laws suck!
i have been thinking of just selling my un-used jdm4-1 and the carsound and just purchase a comptech.. kinda extreme.

i had mines for 6 months, no problems with it at all... but the only thing i have noticed is (but not sure that the cat is the cause of the problem) the fuel gauge will not go to F when full... MPG is not affect however....

I never had a problem with my carsound. I got mine from IPS
Try a JEGs cat from summitt.
my carsound is also all fugged up but oh well. I'm too lazy to make a testpipe so I'll just live with it. oh, and I got mine from IPS.
edit: random is also very very bad.. actually most high flow cats break
