I am swapping a F20a in place for my f22a1. The f20 is internal coil and the f22 is external coil. I pulled the f22 engine harness out of the car. Will the motor work if I use the f20a harness and dizzy? Both motors are OBD1, so that is not a problem.

That would require me to fab something for the external coil to mount to, since the holes aren't there for it on the f20a since its internal coil. Plus the the external coil is gawdy and would like to stay away from it.
The only problem I can forsee keeping the internal coil dizzy is when it comes time to but a new cap, what cap would go on it.
Would the ecu have a problem with the internal coil versus the external coil since I am using the f20a engine harness.
