My first time on the dyno!!
Well, for my first time on the dyno, I was very pleased with the results. I have a 2000 ITR, with only Mugen USDM 4-1 Header, AEM intake, and no power steering belt. I managed to get a max of 178hp to the wheels. I was guessing probably around 165-170, but needless to say i was very pleased with a mostly stock number of 178.
My car is about to go in for major work, and Im very excited to see what she can do. I will hopefully have a dyno plot available soon, and we also video taped the gauge cluster during the two runs. You can see me shifting each gear, slowly through 1st and 2nd, and romping on the gas in 3rd, 4th, and 5th up to about 140mph
It was a blast, and the crowd was loving it.

to be honest with you, I think removing the power steering belt made the most difference. It was like a completely different car after taking it off.
Sweet man!!!
Chris - who is seriously considering removing the power steering now that he's installed his new Spoon wheel and many people praise the removal.

As far as that silver hatch goes, it really cant get any cleaner. In fact, its too clean, and thats why it doesnt win any awards. Its done so subtlely and tastefully, and its not all flashy like that POS del sol that won every award there
He gets frustrated about that ****. His car is FLAWLESSLY done, and yet all the cars with vinyl peeling off, cracked bumpers, shitty interiors, etc, those cars win because they are more flashy and draw attention, yet they look like **** close up. The people that actually know about whats RICE, and whats NICE, do appreciate the silver hatch, he gets lots of praises. And he knows his car is sick and better than a lot of the other **** that was there. As for me, I could care less about being in shows, I was just there with my club and supporting Hollywood Sounds. Peace!
yea i don't know about that del shieet was ugly that blue del w/ the civic front end was a lot hotter than that thing, did you get to talk to jay w/ the turbo PY R that **** is sick
. btw i was one of the judges (w/ the civilized shirt) that you popped your hood for. it was cool for a local show though i guess.

Every dyno run I've seen has been easy shifts up until your in 4th, the make sure the revs are low in 4th about 2k and just romp on it. Thats what they did on mine. also I kow on the mustang dyno's you can make 1/4mi passes, pretty cool huh?

Im not sure, i dont know enough about the ITR gearing to know what gear is best to dyno in. I always assumed 3rd was the best gear to dyno in.

heres a pic of my session, and short movie (MPEG, about 3MB). Hopefully the links work. I think you have to right click on the movie link(second link) and "save target as" in order for it to work.
