really? hum I never knew that.. Then again I never knew about anyone wanting to get power from a Auto b18 swap
Just get a F or H series long block and get a Adapter to use your single cam tranny. Ha That would be nice to see. H/D auto swap ha

thats interesting...
I wonder how the euro/jdm b16 auto tranny works in the ek chassis then? It would be very surprising to hear that the tranny housings were different for the b18 vs b16.

now are you talkin any B-series? or just the b18?
i looked into this a little on google and came across 3 different accounts of people who have used automatic b16a tranny's with the b18 motor in EK's
i dont know much more about that cuz i've never really looked into automatic swaps before, but that was the best i got. .

I tend not to think so. B18a' are OBD0, yes? And I kow for a fact that the B18b is OBD1., so I dont think they would work together. I had n issue similar to this a while back.
I have a 98 EK and first gear gave up on me, so I decided to replace the tranny. I got an auto tranny for a 92-95 ex and when I got the broken tranny out, I noticed that there was this weird cable on the 92-95 tranny that had no place to go on the EK... So now it sits in a lot waiting to get an auto to manual swap...
