hey! your lights are on!!!
i would like to know if anyone knows how to hook up your parking lights so that they are on when you turn on the ignition. if anyone could tell me how you can hook these up for the easiest and cleanest way i would really appreciate it.

Go down to Pep Boys or Radio Shack and buy an automotive relay, some wire, and a few connectors and using the ignition hot wire on the fuse box, splice into the parking lights. Obviously, the relay needs to handle the draw of the bulbs you intend to run, and the wire size should be chosen accordingly.
Not trying to be rude, but honestly, if you couldn't have done that on your own, then perhaps you should leave the electrical stuff to others. There's a lot of potential to seriously screw things up playing with the electrical systems. However, once you have the basic knowledge covered, then its all pretty much the same.

You don't really want to expletive around with your electrical components unless you have decent experience. It can also lead to blown fuses that will boggle your mind.

You would need the above mentioned relay and diodes to prevent the front parking lights from back feeding current to all of the parking lights.

Because some people want to customize their cars. Have you seen the Corvette lights?

yes. but there's already a switch. i just don't understand. this isn't a customization. this is a feature already presented to you with a switch.

He only wants the front parking lights to illuminate. You cannot do that with the switch. You need to add diodes to prevent the backfeed of current to the rear parking lights to achieve this.

Trust me, my lights work normally via the combination switch. The OP simply asked for help for customization.
