Default Type-R Gurus Help a noob out with JDM ITR Motor

Hope im welcome in this forum i dont own a type-r chassis but i do have a 1995 JDM ITR motor in my EG Hatcback , I have a few questions and need some advice . I messed this nice motor up and its my fault . Im hoping its something minor like some fouled or detonated spark plugs . When i bought this motor is was very impressive from day one Bone stock , one of the best v-tec motors i have owned by far , this thing was super fast , anyway i put some octane boost/ fuel injector cleaner in the tank and performance was lost ALOT, so i ran that gas out and refiled with 91 oct and the power still has not returned . Vtec isnt "popping " as hard and it feels like the revs are climbing slower than before . Any thoughts ? Also how do i tell if my tranny is LSD ? I can read you the bar code on it if that helps ? Thanks for your help and i will post a pic of my swap

8400 (rl, not fuel cut)/197 PS/very little

As for it feeling slower, can we can something a little more objective instead of subjective?

This is only an idea but... You say vtec doesn't "pop" like it used to. Have you checked your oil level? If you get about two quarts low you won't have the oil pressure for vtec to engage the high cam.

Also, Do you have any check engine lights etc?

Hell, I'm not afraid to admit my mistakes... I honestly thought that the first year JDM Type-Rs ever made an appearence was '96. Learn something new every day.

JDM ITR's went on sale in late 95, which in Japan makes them a 1995 ITR. They don't go by model years, but by date of sale. 95's are "96 spec" but they are still 95s.
