Fuel injector issue: plastic tip cracked, injector bad?
I remember seeing this either on here or thezcr but I can't remember exactly. I just bought some new OEM fuel injectors (PM7) and when I received them, two of them had the plastic on the end cracked and or broken. Is this going to affect the performance of the injectors? I swore I heard that they were just protective pieces in case they were dropped, etc. Any feedback is appreciated.
I dont think it willl effect the performance...i have the same thing. You are talking about the surrounding part around the nozzle right?

Yeah, not the nozzle itself. I actually was reading around a little more and it seems that this is OK as long as I don't knock the injector tip into anything.
