sup ht im planning on doing an exhaust setup soon, and i plan on going with the apexi n1 catback, i have dc 4-1 headers and i plan on putting on a high flow cat, can anybody using this setup or similar to it let me know what kind of power they're getting out of a jdm b16?
im using an apex'i n1 on my 4door with a highflow cat and a set of headers, im also boosted, and im quite satisfied with the outcome, and im sure you would be too, they have a nice tone
go with an appropriately sized exhaust for your setup. if going n/a...go with 2.25-2.5 inch diameter piping catback. If going boosted, i'd say at a minimum...2.75 inches in diameter.
and if you want low tone....you need an exhaust with a larger muffler section.
BUT.....if you like that fart can sound like 90% of other people...go with that coffee-can muffler style. when i say coffee-can style...i mean any muffler that has a rough diameter of a coffee-can and is just about as short as one as well.

Yeah, an N1 exhaust will be loud. The apexi N1 is loud, but a good nice loud... not a ricer loud. why dont you buy the catback?
As for power gains. It will be barely noticable really. I mean, its not going to be a head jurking difference... you'll be able to feel it at first, but you will get used to it quick. apexi N1's are nice though. good choice
