wassup prelude experts. ijust picked up my first prelude and already i'm clueless to one of these features! i'm having trouble reclining the driver seat. theres a memory link but it does move down. im sitting to staight and it's getting uncomfortable. am i not doing it right? is this really rocket science? any advice would help. thanks!

 

Um.. There should be a handle that you pull to move the sit back and forth, on the bottom left side, if a left hand drive car.. At least this is how my '94 is...

The memory, as far as I have concluded, is for when you lift the seat forward for passengers to get in the back seats, the front seat goes back into the position it was at before it was leaned forward.

My Drivers seat didn't move for me when I first got the car.. And for about a year or two after that actually.. When I striped my interior the past summer I fixz0red it though..

[Edit: My passenger seat handle thing is broken, plastic handle part, and there is a metal piece there now, and that allows the seat to be adjusted.. The plastic handle goes over the Metal piece..]

 

I don't even touch the memory thing. I just use the little lever on the left hand side of the seat to adjust .

 

Well, don't have to use it really, I don't think... It's just set and works passively as far as I know or have paid attention too.. It's nice though..

 

Cmon now, Its common sense.
