i drive a 98 ex with 63k miles and i noticed a loud whining so i automatically thought of the throw out bearing, the noise will go away wen the clutch is pushed in and will occur wen it is out, i was told that if it was the T.O bearing it would be loud wen the clutch is in and quiet when the clutch is out. any suggestions.. thanks

Sounds like it
.
EDIT:
AT OP:
Eh, it is, not much though, you have to drop the trans anyway.
