The gas gauge and temp are in the same circle. Thje gas gauge works ( think, just put it in friday) but the temp gauge goes strait to over heat after a few blocks of driving. Hoping to get advise cuz dealership want 122 smackers for the single gauge. thats more than the cluster. If it is truly broken only option is junk yard i guess, but i would like to try to fix it if possable, thankls.

 

could you be overheating? It could be a bad sender, I've had a bad sender before. It is right on the T-Stat housing.

 

maybe u just need to change out the temp. sensor rite under the dizzy....has the car had a head gasket blown before ?

the thing wouldnt run overheating like this. it runs fine and no probblems until i put the new cluster in. just in case though how much was the sender?
