Default What are some good Motor Mounts?

One of my motor mounts (passenger side on the tranny) has crapped out on me so I figure its time to upgrade my mounts. Wondering if any of you could recommend some good solid inexpensive mounts that would be good for a spirited daily driver that is never tracked. Something cheaper than Hasports but still quality and will not make my whole car vibrate. Let me know if you have any good suggestions.. thanks

I put solid poly innovative mounts in my DA. I love them, but if it gets cold were u are then u will get alot more vibration than others.

Did you get these:

If so, what shore rating did you get, 60A, 75A or 85A? I'm thinking I should probably just go with the 60A because I never track my car...

If you never race your car and don't want it to have any vibrations why not go back with the OEM Honda mounts?

If you own a DA and like to ride it hard than get the mounts. I split two trannys in half because of bad motor mounts. Not a kool site I promise. I don't really track my car either so I got the 60's in the cold my car rattles so bad it will make u sick.

just get the oem ones and some Energy Suspension Inserts, get the black ones though. I had them on my da and had no vibration at all and to boot I had the red ones which are more harsh supposedly.

well i don't "race" per say, but i enjoy driving my car and anything I can do to improve the performance of the handling will definitely be a plus.

so even with the 60's the vibrations were really bad? I really don't want that. how much of a difference did you notice as far as performance? is it worth upgrading from OEM ones to the solid mounts? does the car really handle that much better?

the mount on my tranny is completely shot and has been for a while... is it bad to drive it like that?

I got those same motor mounts, but anadized black. I like them, but its in the single digits outside right now and it makes them vibrate worse. But for the most part I like them a lot. Especially if your making power. Mine are 65's. I wouldnt go any higher tho. Its plenty stiff.

It was about -20 degrees out the other day and I fired up my teg, there was some killer rattle. If you live in the warm part of Cali. I would def go with the 60. If you never ride it hard then I would probably just go with the inserts. I put the inserts in after teh first tranny, the inserts stiffened the engine but they didn't make an insert for the front mount. I think that is the reason I lost the tranny again. So I decided to go with solid mounts but I also use my teg. I drive it hard so the inserts wern't for me. Maybe the inserts will do u great favors tho. Anywho good luck, holler if u need some more input
