Default Ksport lowering springs.

I was thinking about picking up some lowering springs from here:

http://www.ksportusa.com/products/gtsprings.html

I was just wondering if these will swap right out with my current springs and if there is anything else I need for my lowering kit.

thnx

if you don't get a camber kit you'll just be shredding through tires like crazy....so get a camber kit or buy new tires evey few months

You don't always need a camber kit. Search for posts by PatrickGSR. I learned a lot from reading his stuff a while ago, and it cleared up a lot of misinformation.

I got a set on my 94 Gs-R and they sit pretty low and nice. (If your sitting on 15's I think you'll be rubbing fender if 17's+) I didn't get a camber kit I just took it for an alignment since my steering wheel was slightly tilted to the left. Also they are $79 shipped from TI.net's sponser. A steal!

Wow, those are ptetty cheap, I wonder what quality they are, lol! Are they going on stock shocks or do you have some after market shocks? May want to save up and get some shocks along with the springs.

I tired it on stock shocks and they wernt that bad because they are progressive springs... feels a bit harder then stock but I'm getting another set + KYB or Illuminas for my 98. =D

all of ksports products are A+, they are up and coming and really starting to gain ground with tuners. i'd say those springs will be somewhat soft compared to alot of them, maybe comparable to HR Sports. Do NOT get a camber kit until you contact ksport and ask for alignment specs for your car on with those springs. many times the alignment ships are able to do it with no need for aftermarket adjusters. if they cannot get it, see how close it is, most important is toe, camber should be somewhat close, and decide if the trade off for slightly accelerated tire wear is worth buying expensive camber kits. after you get them on ALIGN ALIGN ALIGN. most important thing you can do. good luck

also, you will want to look into getting aftermarket shocks eventually as most springs that have significantly higher spring rates than stock will blow your stock shocks or caus an uncomfortable ride due to the shock not being able to keep up. good choices for those springs and in a good price range would be tokico hp's (cheapest and least favorable of the bunch), koni sports (reds), or kyb agx's (most expensive, will be able to handle drop and be ready for stiffer springs later on if you decide to
