What are the typical numbers on a compression test on a 01'ITR
Also if the compression test shows good numbers across the board does that mean my Piston rings are ok or will I need to run a leak down test as well.
I'm just really paranoid after having the rings go bad on my '00 Si and want to make sure all is well on my new R
Compression test Numbers I got
Cyl#1 205 Cyl#205 Cyl#3 210 Cyl#4 210

Your compression numbers look great.
The actual number varies depending on the gauge you are using. My stock engine last measured 180 across the board before the rebuild. It now measures ~280 with the same gauge.
What you are mainly interested in seeing is good consistent numbers which is what you have.

A friend of mine at Pohanka did the checks on that car. He said everything looked great
My bust I missed your call yesterday, was getting my car towed.
