19x8.5 inch wheels

What tire will fit these wheels

Please recommend some rubber that is good for year round hot conditions with good predictability

Please also include a tire size.

I applogize for my laziness but i need to mount some tires on these soon

I understand this is a Honda forum but I regret to inform you these wheels are for my girls 2004 Tiburon GT.

I have a 99 SI and 93 Del sol s, I am currently stationed overseas and trying to surprise her when I get back with some new wheels and tires, I am on the other side of the world and everyone is sleeping in the states when I get free time, so trustworthy Honda-tech has always been my viable resource for many years, I just keep losing my account info.

215/35-19 but the tire will be stretched so u might wanna go w/ 225/40-19 if the car is not too low and will not rub.

 

I do not recommend 19" wheels for that car. The smallest 19" tires, 215/35-19, is a bit big, and the wheels will be susceptible to damage from potholes due to the low tire profile. And if you DO get 19" wheels, don't get 19x8.5 - that's too wide. Get 19x7.5 for her car, which will be a better fit for the 215/35-19 tires.

I think 18x7.5 with 215/40-18 tires is a MUCH better choice.

In either case, the Kumho SPT is an excellent choice of tire for her. It's available in both 215/35-19 and 215/40-18.

 

a 225/35r19 or a 235/35r19 will work fine as long as you have the right offset wheel.. the wheels thou regret-ably are a little to wide for your application thou.. you should have gotten a 7.5 or an 8 inch wide wheel at the most for that application...

 

damn hope its not too late to get another set, the 5zigens will flow with that body style

maybe i can exchange for a 18x7.5 or 8 and the refund will pay for handling
