Default DA shock and springs?

Has anyone ever tried skunk2 springs w/ kyb gr-2 shocks? Tein or tanabe springs or tokico blue shocks? These are the only choices i could afford right now. Its for a 92 da that is a daily driver. Does anyone know which of these springs n shocks work best together? Thanks

I have ridden in a DA with the Skunk2 springs, rides nice. He's still on stock shocks too. I have Goldines with Tokico Blues(same drop) and its awesome. Good Luck

Don't waste your money on the blues. Like you said, they're basically OEM replacements, but OEM shocks are not too good with lowering springs (bouncy ride and it'll blow the shocks much quicker).

What are the spring rates on the springs you have?

I have no idea what the rates are. They're stiff but not too stiff and its not bouncy at all. They are just off the shelf rates I would assume. Its not too drastic of a drop either though.

yes, mine is dropped anout 2.5" in the front and 2" in the back, and i've had that set-up for about a year and a half w/ no issues or complaints.....get a camber kit though, that is a must.

A camber kit is not a must, an alignment is. Search and you'll see why you don't necessarily need a camber kit.
