Removing stock spoiler???
It is simple to take off there are just 4 screws underneath the hatch and the 3rd brake light wire. But the hard part is plugging the holes in the hatch, which can cost some money at your local body shop..
I dunno about a cheap easy way to plug those holes, but if anyone else has an answer for that share cuz I would like to take my stock spoiler off too

Measure the holes, go to home depot, search for plugs the same size... Be sure to use a little bit of epoxy on the bottom of the plugs as well. They have TONS of different sized rubber plugs at HD.

i beleive theyre like 2 dollars for a package

hey guys i needed to bring up this thread because i went to HomeDepot to find these plugs and the guys there and i searched for like a half hour throughout the store and could not find them. is there any other place that i can find plugs to plugs up the holes in my trunk?
You can use plugs off a LS on the shock towers under the hood. It will plug up 4 of the holes. Search on here theres a thread somewhere that has the part number, if no one finds it then i can get the part number.
hey i searched but im not sure exactly what im suppsed to be searching for. when u say it covers up 4 of the holes are they the 4 smaller holes (2 small holes on each side)???
2 small holes on each side
Part Number for those 4 plugs:
91601-sr3-000

I had this same problem several months ago. They have it at Home Depot or Lowes. Go to the "Nuts and Bolt" section or whatever it is they call it. It's an aisle full of drawers containing all sorts of screws, washers, etc. What you are looking for are "nylon plugs." You have to measure the holes. I took a piece of paper and measured the holes and just brought it with me inside the store. I know they are hard to find, but yeah its in that aisle with all the pull out drawers. They are about a dollar something for a packet of two pieces.
