CV joint emergency.
After having tonnes of trouble removing the balljoint from the LCA we have run into another problem. We cant remove the CV assembly from the back of the rotor. I believe you have to pop it out and then swing the LCA + rotor assembly out of the way, is this correct?
Anyway, ill post a picture of where we are stuck. We just dont know how to get this rotor out of the way to get at the actual CV joint, basically.

Also, do I need the ABS cv joint if we have a JDM integra or not?

make sure you dont mushroom the head of that shaft if your planing to just reuse it..
for the time and money i would just get a reman shaft and call it a day but thats me.. (limited lifetime warranty)
try not to bang it too much you might also ruin the bearing.. if you still can't get it out with a couple of whacks then put it together and bring it to the shop..
they may charge more but they will be able to get it out.
i've had a couple of those in my time also.. but i work in a shop
