vtec hits at 4400. you feel it pull when you feel it pull. i personally cant feel anything in a gsr, much less my ls.

forget the fuel rail and injectors... for you i'd say intake, header with 2.5 collector, 2.5 exhaust, cams (do your research on this), and some tuning... then you're off to a good start. but if you really got some ***** then go turbo

I cant feel my gsr pull on 7lbs much less stock . dont waste your money on N/A when you know you want to go turbo. leave the N/A to the 2k lbs civics. i know some might not agree on here.

If you go with cams, you will probably need some pistons (depending on what cams he goes with) to compliment and support the cams.
Dont cheap out on the intake or header either
AEM CAI 3'' dyno proven
dont get a DC header they are worthless unless you need carb

if you can't feel your car pull on 7lbs, why go turbo?
I say do a full NA build and then go beat up on boosted civics and integras.

nothing wrong with turbo just not for me

Do you want to go N/A or turbo? IF its N/A then go ahead with the headers and intake; if turbo dont even buy those two. Just save the money for building/buying a kit.

Maybe start looking into getting a new clutch, so when you get a turbo, your stock one won't slip.

if u plan on goin turbo then save ur money. i would say spend it on like a clutch, flywheel and cheap lsd. it will really pay off once the turbo goes on trust me. if u must get a header in the meantime then I suggest possibly a JDM ITR header with 2.5 collector along with the heatshields as an alternative to the DC header with carb# cause it is sux.

I'm working on turboing mine right now. I already went ahead and installed an LSD to help with the torque steer and I put in a Spec stage 3 clutch. LSD is totally worth it, it's a quaife, and the clutch is a freaking monster. After you take care of that stuff I'd recommend getting yourself a chipped ecu so you can tune your car later on down the road. I'd also get my fuel upgrades (pump, filter, injectors, rail) but I wouldn't put them on until I turbo'd the car.

maybe even some after market motor mounts. my oem mounts didnt hold out for long. LSD, traction bar, and good tires is a good idea too. no better feeling that catching traction

No, thats misinformation.
The secondary runners open 4500.. Vtec doesn't hit untill 5500. If you listen you can hear 2 different engine pitch changes. reference the vid in my sig and you can hear it.

My GSR pulls like a raped ape after 5500. It makes me smile everytime the pedal is to the floor. And I just have I/H/E w/no tune.

If you just got it, do the normal tune up.. new spark plugs/wires, oil change, air filter. Sometimes thats neglected and pple don't realize how much those things can hinder performance.

No the other guy was rigth before. the second set of butterfly valves open. Then vtec kicks in at 6k for me. Maybe 5800.

But it is a noticeable difference. especially in 4th gear.

Buy the intake if youre going turbo...Its the same exact piece as any charge piping..

And in a stock GSR vtec is around 4400...the secondaries open later..
