I was just wondering if any one used wheels that weren't round for autoX. im thinking about buying a used momo trek for my rex but im not sure how it would be turning, especially in hair pin like turns and such.

They are great in my opinion. Sounds silly, but if your ever out of control you know exactly where the wheel is.

 

My buddys car has a steering wheel like that and he absolutely cant stand it. He says it is hard when you are shifting your hands quite a bit like on tight courses. I have only drove it on road course stuff and thought that it wasn't bad at all but I was never really releasing the wheel.

 

ive got the momo apache in my integra.

and i must say, its great. much better than stock. it feels real comfy, and the thumb spots are right on. it was like $200 back in the days when i got it. like 3-4 years ago i think.

its a real good wheel
