Default What motorcycle for the vertically challenged?

I have a girlfriend that is 5' 2" she would like to go riding with me but can barley touch the ground on the 600's. She only likes the sport bike style bikes. Anyone know if its possible to get a 600 low enough for a shorter person to ride. I know their are a few two stokes out their but I have never checked any out. I had a YSR50 when I was 16 but this is to small. Links to any web sites?

The new bike from Dan Gurney. It was in the latest issue of AutoWeek. Very low seating position and great styling. Look it up!

Thanks Alot!!
Are there any reviews of this product.
What are they actually doing to get the ride height lower. I know you can adjust the spring but they are claiming up to 5". I would probably be interested in the CBR600 kit since I have the 900RR. On a 600 she can basically hold the bike up on her tippy toes. I haven't measured her, but would like for her to be flat footed. I plan to buy her one for our 7 year anniversary, if I can remember what exact day it was, damn. Why do girls remember this down to the last minute and second that you met? I'm lucky if I remember my birthday.
Again thanks for the info.

have you looked at the ninja 250? If this is a first bike, no way would I put her on a 600...

WRT the company and what they do, I have "heard" good things. No first-hand experience though.

I knew that sonner or later I wold get this response. I feel differently about the entire start small first thing. I never cared much for anything under a 750. Now the 600s are very strong and very fast. Ridin responsibly they can be a lot of fun. Most motorcycles crashes that occur are by rider error. Someone trying to push a bike to its limits when there skills lack the ability to do so. The weight of the new 900s are the same as the 600s. I don't find it any more difficult to ride a 900 over a 600. The 900 obviously could get you into trouble a lot faster. This is why I said ridin resposibly they can be fun.

My girlfriend will probably ride this a total of maybe 500 miles a year. She will be taking a motorcycle saftey coarse. She won't be riding alone, she doesn't feel the need to hit 0-60 in 2sec at every street light either. And yes a 250 is a possibility if I can find one she likes. Thanks for the info.

Most lowering kits are lowering dogbones. Shock linkage arm that mounts the shock, swingarm, and frame. They will mess the suspension geometry up too. Many people have an upholsterer shave an inch or so off the foam of the seat and reupholster it. This way you will not affect the way the bike handles.

Get another honda. They rule
